Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.
As we reflect back upon last year, perhaps we have dealt with issues with our families / friends, with sickness / with disease, and even with the loss of someone…but God has gotten you through it with His love, mercy and grace…you are proof of it ; we are still here this morning breathing air, eating food, have shelter to rest in, and transportation to get from here to there…but the most important thing of all, we have a Savior in Jesus Christ who gave His life upon a cross at calvary for you / for me…for the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life…we must show God our gratitude for the past year of 2024 before we move forward into the new year of 2025…Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord though of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope….
May this next year be one that we are drawn closer to God…through our obedience to Him in making time for the reading / studying of His Word, being more active in our church, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ…in this we make a pathway to enjoy all the blessings He has in store for us…may God bless you with a great New Year in 2025...
Father God, we are so thankful for all the provisions You make for us daily....as we begin a new year, may we be submisive, be obedient, and keep an attitude of gratitude in serving You...thank You for loving us and never giving up on us…In Jesus Christ precious Name…Amen…
Enjoy the journey…
In Christ…

Thank you, for the inspiring words! Yes, 2025 in the name of Jesus ♥ I love that picture!
We talked in our Youth Group last night about what kind of Resolution, we as followers of Christ, should start. A resolution should have the right motivation behind it. Do we want to lose weight because we want to look good at the beach or because our bodies are a temple for the Most High God, and we should look our best and put things into our bodies that glorify Christ? Do we want to read the Bible more so that we can show off our knowledge and be comfortable in a church setting or do we want to draw closer to the Lord and have a better understanding of our Creator?
It's all about the motivation behind it, God…
