Psalm 139: 23-24 Search me , O God, and know my heart; Try me , and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way of the everlasting.
The last couple of weeks I have felt distant in my relationship with The Lord God…it’s not that I haven’t been reading His Word or not reading devotions but its the Intimacy that I lack and miss…it’s entirely my fault for allowing this to happen by lacking in discipline to continue to pray and dig deeper into His Word…creating a closeness that we all need in our relationship with Him…I pray this will never happen to you but if it does, take the time you need to get it right with God …praying for the renewing and refreshing of the Holy Spirit, it lead me to the reading Psalm 139 …by the time I'm reading the last two verses, my heart / my spirit is weeping and drawing me closer to The Lord God…
While we were on vacation last month on the 14th of October I had written down Proverbs 14:12…There is a way that seems right to man, But its end is the way of death. God’s Spirit is a Teacher and Counselor that will help guide us through difficult times…and His wisdom will reveal unto us what we need to know and how to us use it…when we are guided by the power of The Holy Spirit, we won't ever feel distant in our relationship with Him…be humble and follow His led…
Father God , thank You for Your mercy and grace that allows us to draw close to You, when we have become distant…may we stay obedient to You in our discipline to pray, to read the Word, and to worship You, as we strive to live in accordance to Your principles …thank You for loving us and never giving up on us…
