We were visiting Effingham Ill. on a Wednesday evening at The Cross, which was built by a man who wanted to honor Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…The Cross resembles the one in Groom, Texas that he and his wife had visited on vacation…
I was reading some of the description displays of the Cross while Cyndy was taking pics of everything else around the area…while we were in the information center, adjacent to the prayer meeting chapel we meet a lady named Keri…she was telling us that she lived further north off the interstate and went to church near by the Cross…but had never stopped in before until this night, while her children were participating in church activities that evening…we all felt like it was a divine meeting that God had set for us that evening…we talked about The Lord, our churches, and how He continues to be a blessing and inspire our lives daily by The Spirit…as we finished visiting, Keri ask for us to join together in prayer before leaving …she was and is a breath of fresh air in being an encourager for the Lord God Jesus Christ…
We feel very blessed for for this appointment with Keri that evening and we thankful for her and family…if we ever get back to Effingham, Ill. again, we will be in touch and meet her / family at church…
Heavenly Father, thank you for the unexpected divine meeting of fellow Christians throughout our daily journeys…as Sons and Daughters of God Almighty may we always be encouragers of Your Word and express love for each other…
