Victory In Jesus

Writer's picture: JLNJLN

John 9:3 - "It was not because of his sins or his parent's sin," Jesus answered, "This happened so the power of God could be seen in him."

This passage follows the questioning of "why" a man was born blind. Many, so many, times we (or at least me) want to ask this same question of God - "why?". We can smother our faith, kill our hope and derail our lives by allowing the "whys" of life to stop us in our tracks. We must look for the bigger picture!

Maybe the person sitting next to you in the waiting room for the next chemo treatment needs to know your hope in Jesus and the new body that comes with faith in him.

Maybe the man who stopped to help you change a tire was on his way to end his own life and your hope in Jesus and example of how things of this world are just a training ground for eternity stopped him from completing his mission.

Maybe you just needed to be drawn closer to Jesus and when all is perfect in our world we "don't need" him as much.

Maybe you need a Victory.

Romans 8:37 - despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

Don't quit. Maybe you are "blind" right now (can't see what will happen from here) but hold tight to Jesus - he will carry you through IN VICTORY! He said he will never leave us nor forsake us. You can trust him for he cannot lie. He is truth.

Matthew 1:23 - ...... they will call him Immanuel, which means God with us.

Jesus is with you. He is for you. Let him and his power be seen in you this Christmas season.

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,

for those who are called according to his purpose"

Thanks...
