Ephesians 2:6-7: For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus
We all have influence in the world around us.... What kind of example are you setting for the future generations? We are given gifts of grace and kindness in Christ Jesus - is this what our lives speak of? Are we setting examples of how to live by faith, of how God's grace has transformed us, of how being united with Christ brings peace, endurance and even excitement for all of the promises God has made to those who are "his children by faith in Jesus"?
Younger believers need an example of maturing faith. As older believers we often need to be reminded of the zeal of new faith. Non-believers need to know there is more to life than what they see on Earth. Be an example to someone and to everyone. Condition yourself to be the example you would like to follow and that Jesus has created you to be!
Ephesians 2:10: For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us a new in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
