2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Have you ever thought about how your presence speaks more volume than any words of encouragement or those of condolences ?…there will be times when you need to be with someone going to a doctor’s appointment and they need encouragement…
sooner or later the call to help someone who has experienced the loss of a loved one may come…and this will be one of those times when your presence will comfort them probably more than words could ever do…it seems like when people experience the deepest pain is when they need our deepest love and concern…hug them, love them, be there for them, and use the fewest words necessary in comforting them…
this is one of the reasons that we are part of God’s Kingdom…to serve in comforting people…do as Jesus did in sharing love and compassion on this earth over 2,000 years ago during His ministry…it still works today…
Father, may we share the gift of love and compassion with others in need as we serve You…and thank You for loving us and never giving up on us…
In Jesus Name…Amen…
Enjoy the journey…
In Christ…
